Today our studio is made up of 25 men and women from architectural, multimedia, video and graphic design backgrounds.

Our work continues to focus on the real estate industry. We obviously illustrate the built environment and deliver an illustration/video, a product, to our Clients. Our favorite projects however combine product and service. In the early stages of a project, when the design is not well defined, our visualization process allows us to help our Clients discover and improve their projects along the way.

Because our business follows the architectural design process, the most important part of the process is editing our work. Rarely does a client see an illustration of their project and not want to change something. The ability to edit models quickly in form•Z therefore is important to Interface and our ability to satisfy our clients and complete a project.

Our work occurs at many different scales and each offers unique challenges. One of our most interesting and challenging projects has been to work with the District Government and the Washington DC Economic Partnership to build and maintain a 3d model of the entire District of Columbia. Recently we have added additional detail to the 7 square miles of the city along the banks of the Anacostia Riverfront. For this project we created a five minute video and an associated website to review development in the area.

One of the most gratifying feelings a software company can have for the work that goes behind the development effort is seeing the results through its customers’ projects. Thank you Jeff and Mark for this reward and for sharing your work with other uZers.
