form•Z 1.0 was released 18 years ago in February. When AutoDesSys decided to commemorate the event with this issue of in•form•Z, a long time employee recalled talking to Jeff Pulford when he was a student at Arizona State University. He recently submitted images that wowed the form•Z team in Ohio. It was only natural to look him up, reminisce, and ask to highlight him as this issue’s uZer in focus. The story is simple, what followed magnifcent! Jeff Pulford and his classmate Mark Burlinson taught form•Z at the University of Maryland School of Architecture where they both earned their Master of Architecture degrees. This places the events in 1991-1992. In 1993 the graduates started Interface Multimedia in Silver Spring, Maryland, in the Washington D.C. area, a successful business that |
offers a full spectrum of creative solutions including corporate brand/identity, digital visualization, interactive media, video production, print design and iDAM™ software solutions - http://www.ifmm.com. In an unassuming and modest way, Jeff told us that he was flattered that AutoDesSys chose to highlight his work and experience with form•Z. He was presented with a set of questions to gather facts to write this article. But we have chosen to simply quote what he had to say because of the sincerity that permeates his answers that illustrate the value and benefits of form•Z well. Needless to say that pictures speak a thousand words. We have taken the liberty to show off a few and encourage our readers to visit Interface Multimedia’s Web site. |
